Anemia is the one of the common disorder of blood in which the blood concentration drops to a certain low level or when the red blood cells continues to go down .Inside the red blood cells there is a protein present called the hemoglobin which helps in the movement of oxygen to the body through the blood .Because of monthly menstrual cycle women are more at danger of catching anemia.

Cause of Anemia 

There are a lot of causes of anemia. The following are the main causes of anemia.

  • Blood loss
  • Destruction of blood cells.
  • Deficiency of iron.
  • Lack of vitamin called B-12
  • Certain disease like Sickle Cell anemia, Arthritis, HIV.

Symptoms of Anemia

The most common symptoms of anemia are; lethargy, feeling tired,shortness of breath, palpitation, swelling in the legs and arms and in some cases blood in the stool.
