Introduction:-The B-cell lymphomas are types of lymphoma affecting B cells. Lymphomas are "blood cancers(Rakta dhatu )" in the lymph nodes (Contains lymphatic fluid can co-related with Rasa dhatu). B-cell production in humans is a lifelong process that starts in the fetal liver intrauterine and bone marrow(Majja Dhatu) after birth. B-cell lymphomas include both Hodgkin's lymphomas and most non-Hodgkin lymphomas. B-cells is a key player of adaptive immune response-responsible for Humoral Immunity.
Ability of B-cells:- Discriminates between self and non-self Antigens.
Memory of B-cells:- Ability to recall the previous contact with antigen, b-cell is the only one which recognize the antigen -fights with non-self antigen to make a human healthy.
B-cells Lymphomas:- B-cell lymphomas is a type of cancer that forms in B-cells which are produced in Bone marrow(Majja Dhatu) include both Hodgkin's lymphomas and most non-Hodgkin lymphomas. B-lymphomas either slow growing /developing (Kaphaj in nature) or Aggressive/fast growing -cell proliferation (due to Pitta) Vata dosa is responsible for Cell division and Metastasis.
Common lymphoma symptoms:-
swollen glands in the neck, armpit or groin area, or anywhere you have glands (lymph nodes) – usually these aren’t painful, extreme tiredness – tiredness that doesn’t go away even after rest or sleep (fatigue), chest pain, cough or breathlessness if there’s a swelling in your chest feeling uncomfortably full or feeling sick caused by a swelling in your stomach area itching either widespread or in one place bone pain if the lymphoma affects the bone marrow inside your bones skin rashes or lumps infections that are frequent or last a long time unusual bleeding or bruising caused by a low number of platelets – the blood cells that cause the blood to clot.
Physiopathology (Samprapti Ghatak) acc.to Ayurveda:-
Dosa:- Kapha, Pitta, Vata(Tridosaja)
Dûsya:-Primary Polluted Dhatus- Rakta(Blood),Rasa-plasma/Lymphatic fluid.
Secondary Polluted Dhatus- Medo(Fat),Majja (Bone Marrow).
Agni:- Dhatvagni, Jatharagni.
Ama:- Rasa, Rakta dhatugat
Srotas:- Origin from- Majja vaha srotas.
Rasavaha, Rakta vaha
Srotodusti:-Sanga, Vimarga gaman.
Udbhavasthāna:- Majja dhatu(Bone Marrow)
Adhisthana:-Sarvasarir
Vyaktasthana:-Whole Body.
Sadhyasadhyata:-Krucchrasadya.
Management by Ayurveda: Tikshna Basti:-
Tiksna basti (Enema) which is indicated in Asthi-Majjavaha vikaras. Tikshna basti penetrated deeper dhatus of our body.
Gomutra:-Kamadhenu cow
Cow Urine is an effective antibacterial agent against a broad spectrum of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and also against some drug-resistant bacteria. It acts as a bio-enhancer of some antimicrobial drugs. It has antifungal, anthelmintic, antineoplastic action, is useful in hypersensitivity reactions and in numerous other diseases including increasing the life-span of a person. It is pungent (Katu) in taste, Tiksna, Usna, alkaline (Kshara), Agnideepaka, Medhya, Kaphavatahara, Pithavardhaka and beneficial in Sula, Gulma, Udara, Anaha. It is useful for Virechana and Asthapana Karma. It is useful in obesity, certain cardiac and renal diseases, indigestion, stomach ache, diarrhoea, oedema, jaundice, anaemia, haemorrhoids and skin diseases including vitiligo. Its anti-cancerous activity is due to the presence of uric acid and Allantoin in it. It shows wound healing activity due to the presence of allantoin, immunomodulation due to presence of Arum hydroxide
Mode of action of cow urine:-
CU contains phenolic acids (gallic, caffeic, ferulic, o-coumaric, cinnamic, and salicylic acids) which have antifungal characteristics.CU prevents the development of antibacterial resistance by blocking the R-factor, a part of plasmid genome of bacteria.
Additional ingredients:-
Tulsi:- Mother of medicine.
Higher Phenolic content. It breaks down the Aavaran (Occlusion) of Vata by aggravated Kapha and Pitta dosa in srotas. Due to its chemical compositions it inhibits the growth & development and progression of cancer by blocking the cell proliferation( Prakopa due to vata and pitta dosa).Tulsi reduces the DNA damage caused by toxic compound. Tulsi extract -protect the cellular organelles and membrane by mopping up damaging free radicals the growth caused by Antigen. Tulsi nourished the cell and reduces the growth of cancerous cells.
Haridra:- Curcuma longa inn:
The major chemical components present in Haridra ''Curcumin'' inhibits the proliferation (Prakopa of dosa at cellular level) Migration (Prasara of dosa ) and invasion (sthana samshraya) .Haridra suppress tumor Angiogenesis(Formation of new blood vessels) resulting in regression in the tumor metastasis growth. Experimental studies ′in vitro and in vivo′ in diverse models have also proved the anti-tumor activity of haridra. curcumin acts at each stage of promotion, progression, and metastasis of cancer.
Conclusion:- Asthi-Majja dhatu can be co-related with Bone and Bone marrow, and B-cell production in humans is a lifelong process that starts in the fetal liver intrauterine and (Majja Dhatu) bone marrow after birth. if Tikshna Basti of choose for line of treatment which is acting on Asthi-majja(Bone and Bone marrow) dhatu the root of B-cells Lymphomas. Hence Tikshna Basti can show good result in the management of B-cells Lymphomas.
