This is a strange one I agree, but I yawn during strenuous exercise. My trainer said he's never seen anyone else do it. I get plenty of sleep. Is it a deoxygenated blood thing? Maybe I should start exercising in the morning rather than evening? Thank you for your time doctor.

Yes yawning is a normal physiological phenomena.. Do not think too much about it...yes generally we yawn when carbon dioxide levels are higher...try going for evening workout session and see...
