X ray said l5 s1 para fracture
I'm 30 years female suffering from lower back ache radiating to leg, lower thighs and calf, pain is intense, Doctor suggested mri scan but I'm very much scared of getting mri, I literally get shivering if I think about it. Can anyone treat me without mri scan? I don't have any other symptoms. After taking tigrabantin and ultracet, pain is in control but not completely gone. I'm wearing lumbar belt as well. Please suggest doctor I'm really looking forward for help

MRI is safe you can get it done. To can take a help of a doctor / anesthesiologist for sedation. If your symptoms are getting better with medicines you can wait for MRI. You can alternatively do a CT scan if symptoms are severe.
