I am having tooth pain at my third upper molar right side it's very bad what do you suggest .if I should extract it or do root canal

Now a days third molar if the tooth has erupted in normal form and if it is easily accessible to dentist then definitely dentist only will suggest you to go for root canal , but in some cases where tooth cannot be accessed or it is erupted in abnormal form then surgical extraction is the only treatment , So it all depends on the situation .only medications cannot heal this condition , necessary treatment has to be done
