My friend tested negative after 30 days of possible exposure , blood test name was hiv1 &2 antibodies combo test at dr lal path labs. And again tested negative at 45 days SRL lab test for hiv. Is there any possibility that he may seroconvert after 45 days ?

Hello there...I can understand your concern. The seroconversion phase can vary in some individuals. Also it will depend on the generation of Elisa test done. 3rd and 4th generation Elisa can detect antibodies in a month. Whereas 1 and 2 will detect after 2 to 3 months. So ask him to repeat the test after 3 months of exposure.
