you are correct its only in and out of breath. but if you think spiritually its mean your ego can go through breath out. breath in and out means so-hum that is means our ego will clam down with breath out. there is better explanation in art of living basic course. if you want you can join their 6 days basic course. if you still feel good then no need medication. you can meditate yourself anytime anywhere also with open your eyes

You must try guided meditation if you are sceptical about the effects of meditation. While we meditate, we do start with slow breathing, but slowly our body begins to relax and loosen up. A relaxed body has blood vessels that are relaxed too, as a result they carry more blood and more oxygen to your entire body and leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to return to your day.

I would suggest you try a guided meditation session. I offer meditation sessions, both in-person ans online, so do let me know if you’d like to try
