White patches on the neck of my baby
Hi my query is my baby is 3 months old from last few days I spotted white patches on the back of her neck of my baby I consulted the skin doctor they told that it's a fungal infection due to sweating in her neck area becoz her neck is not yet balance....doc has given atogla lotion to apply candid cream n absorb powder just wanted to not that is there anything to worry I m really scared will it spread all over the body I m very much worried plz explain me abt it in detail and what precautions do I need to take for the safetyness of my baby

Hi, I understand your apprehension but the doctor is actually likely correct, this is a fungal infection due to sweating and will settle down with the treatment given, the things is to avoid sweating and this can be done by making the child wear light clothes and bathing at least twice a day and using cooler or air conditioning as needed
