White heads on scalp

Asked for Male, 34 Years

Earlier I used to get whiteheads on scalp in winters, but now this problem is there throughout the year, although more severe in winters. I have an oily scalp and wash my hair with shampoo on alternate days. Thus seems to a fungal problem, and I want to get rid of this permanently.

You seem to have a condition known as folliculitis. Get a complete blood counts and sugars checked. Keep the hair short. Avoid excessive sweating snd oiling the scalp. Eat nutritious food and loose weight if you are overweight. Try Cetrimide shampoo weekly thrice .If it persists then Consult dermatologist nearby for better management.
