What's my problem?
I want to know if there is a mental disorder or neurological deficiency that would cause me to simply not care enough about normal things that everyone naturally cares about. My house is beyond messy most of the time. I never feel like showering or doing my laundry. It's always a bother and I don't feel better after doing it. I know it's bad and I should do it because that's what normal functional people do. But I genuinely don't care. I'm not depressed. It's been like this my whole life.

Hi, This is Dr Kishore. The scenario you are describing might not imply any psychiatric illness. But there will be variations in the personalities of individuals, as each person is different from one another. Thus your personality is as such and it might not be an illness. But in order to confirm that, I need more details regarding your issue.
