What’s causing my Asthma to get worse
Hi there, I’ve recently (2 weeks ago) started taking Lansoprazole for very bad indigestion. I’ve noticed over the past week my asthma has been getting worse (normally only affects me when I’m running) - I’ve been taking my sabutomol inhaler 2-3 times a day when normally i wouldn’t be affected at all. Could the Lansoprazole be causing this or is it just one of those weird occurrences?

Hi. I understand your concern s. Lanzoprazole does not worsen asthma. But uncontrolled acidity can worsen asthma. If you are using so much asthalin then your asthma is uncontrolled. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest
