What is endometrial thickness normal range premenopausal
Asked for Female, 46 Years
I have been having some pre menopausal issues for the past 6 months and I visited the OB/GYN's clinic a few days back and they had tested my endometrial thickness to determine what was wrong. Apparantly it has grown thicker and I've been bleeding clots instead of free flow of blood. What is the normal endometrial thickness range and how to bring it back to normalcy? Is there a remedy?

Since you are in post menopausal phase endometrial thickness may vary at this time, due to irregular shedding of endometrium during menstruation. So there is no clear cut off for endometrial thickness during this phase. But in post menopausal age anything more than 4 mm is suspicious. Anyways its better you should undergo a endometrial sampling done.
