What if misoprostol is taken late
My friend got pregnant, her last period was on 19th November and she didn't get her period on 19th December and she waited then she checked and got positive on pregnancy test,
After that she got bleeding on 4 th Jan but with that she took mifepristone on same day and one dose of misoprostal after 52 hours and second dose of misoprostal after 36 hours of first dose. Is the medication is taken properly.

Misoprostol and mifepristone have been shown to be effective for medical abortion up to 9 weeks of gestation.
She should undergo a TVS to know the status correctly if any remains still persist should consult a gynecologist.
