I agree your brain fogs after sometime.. Plan your reading time in such a way, that take frequent breaks and sufficient rest... On an average, you can study 8 to 10 hrs productively.. Hence pla  accordingly.. For further details and discussions, do consult a psychologist.

Hi sir Thanks for seeking help. Usually this type complains appears when we try to remember things near to exam. Our mind forgets 70 to 80 percentage of study stuffs after one day with one reading. In the very next day .... It usually forgets more than 90 percentage of that. It's natural. Mechanisms of memory ...if you practice repeatedly then there will be permanent memory. Anxiety leads to poor concentration leads to memory issues. We should focus on that also... There are cognitive enhancer which help temporary but not in long run.. So we suggest do Regular yoga and enhance your concentration and do repeated reading to retain better.
Next Steps
Everyone is not same... some have better development in cortex where they retain faster ..don't get frustration for that. Every brain has some qualities which is good and some which is not good. be happy the way God created us. Recognise our potential n enhance it...is the best thing we will do
