WEAK MEMORY & CONCERNTRATION PROBLEMS

I am 27 yrs old and I am suffering from weak memory and concentration problems. I used to be a bright students during my school and college days when I was in undergraduate course but since 2017 I am having these problems. Doctors started giving me zolpidem for insomnia because I was ill and couldn't sleep. Can zolpidem cause weak memory? Who should I consult for this memory and concentration problems? Do I need to consult a psychiatrist, neurologist or neuropsychiatrist for this problem? What is the difference between psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist?
