Watery stool ans red anus
Hi doctors,
My 16 days old son has very watery stool with yellow particles. Also, there is redness around his anus which looks a little swollen. He's struggling to poop and passes a lot of gas. Can someone please help me with possible causes and solutions?
Context: I'm currently taking post partum ayurveda medicines and consuming almost 3 glass of milk per day. I myself have indigestion issue since past 3 days. Baby is being exclusively breastfed.

Are you using wet wipes to clean anal area? This can be cause of redness around anus. If very watery stool and weight loss is there then it needs to be evaluated..

Kindly consult, it may be diaper dermatitis, also diet of mother can affect the consistency of your newborn's stools.

Don't use diaper ma'am... Use rashfree ointment local area twice a day.. continue breastfeeding, if weight loss or any sign of dehydration then need to admit..
