My brother in law had an accident 18 days back, he was on a ventilator for a few days and discharged after 15 days.
He has the skull and multiple fractures on face. Nuro surgeon suggest that it will heal by there own.
Now after 2 day discharge from the hospital, the patient has a runny nose, water is dropping from the nose.
We visited the doctor and suggested some tests(ct cisternogeaphy and discharge test) and told this may be leakage for any fracture and this requires some surgery.
Please suggest which surgery is required and we can see a ent or how serious it is

Usually CSF leak repair is done by endoscopically or cranially depending on the site of leak
Need to confirm if it’s CSF first by beta two transferrin test and a cisternogram and then can decide the surgical part
