Hi,my daughter is now 1 month old.liquid comes frequently in her eyes.liquid is colourless.what reason water comes?plz suggest to avoid and any medicine to care it?

a. please dont worry
b. this is due to congenital lacrimal passage blockage
c. only treatment is sac massage
follow up after 1 month

Your daughter is suffering from non-canalization of nasolacrimal duct.Please ask your wife to have soft massage with her index finger over skin near inner canthus(nose side)&put some antibiotic drop(Tobrex eye drop).Better to consult some good ophthmologist to get your wife train how to massage properly.
