Was I completely treated?

Asked for Female, 22 Years

Last year march I was put on metronidazole and doxicycline for suspected PID. My partner and I were treated for a two week period and the symptoms went away without reoccurring. We were never tested for STD's before or after treatment. Is it possible to still have gonorrhea or chlamydia, although my symptoms cleared and haven't returned?
