Vomiting tendency increase in 14 week of
My wife is pregnant and 14 weeks running. She is taking medicine of calcium, Vitamin D and folic acid. From last one week she has been vomiting  frquently which is not happened at beginning of pregnancy. While vomiting all the foods are coming out which she had took and feel pain in stomach. Is it good or bad and why it is happening?

Don’t worry.. Nausea & vomiting in pregnancy is present in 70 to 80% of women .. It is often troublesome & extend upto advanced pregnancy., However it’s prudent to exclude other causes of vomiting .. especially upper GI causes & H pylori infection .. It’s desirable to get whole abdomen USG done just to be on the safer side .. Some precautions to take ; Do not lie down immediately after eating Take small meals at frequent intervals Avoid spicy food Drink water half yo one hour after meals Take combination of pyridoxine with doxylamine Can take lemon , ginger , mint - all these alleviate nausea
