Vitamin D deficiency
Hi I am working in Mumbai and have not been exposed to sun for last 4 months.Can i take vitamin D supplements without taking any test ? Is cod liver oil as supplement suggested?

Hi! Just not going out in the sun does not cause Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. Excess of it causes toxicity  It's safer to have baseline blood test and only then start the supplements ONLY if deficient.
