Vitamin d deficiency
Doc asked me to do vitamin-d test and after the test , the vit-d value is 8.17 Ng/ml. Is it a deficiency or is it fine ? If it is a deficiency, then is it something to worry about ?

Hello there...i can understand your concern. You have vitamin d deficiency. you can take tablet uprise d3 60000 IU, one tablet every week for 8 weeks for vitamin d3 deficiency. Also try to go expose your body sunlight for atleast 30 mins everyday to increase natural synthesis. This will help improve your vitamin d levels. Also vitamin d deficiency is very common among Indian population. Consult the general physician who asked to get investigation for further evaluation of primary symptom.
