Vitamin D @3ng/ml. Help!
Hi I was diagnosed with TB 4 months back and since then I have been taking medicines for it. In the second month of treatment I realized that I just couldn't walk properly. There was pain in ankles, feet, knees, thighs, elbows, wrists (on lifting anything). I was prescribed Omnacortil 10mg to see if the situation improved but it didn't help much. Then Vitamin D test revealed that my level is 3ng/ml. I was given Uprise D3 60,000 IUs weekly. I was also asked to taper Omnacortil and stop it and was given Ultracet. Now, the doctor has written that I can take Ultracet twice daily and when I asked him for how long he said till the time you need it. Important thing to note is he didn't write the duration on prescription. I have been taking it for 10 days now but I read that it is habbit forming and I shouldn't have taken it for more than 5 days in a row. Please Help!
