Viral infection
Blocked nose and throat from past 2 days...started Augementin 625 yesterday... High fever 101 now inspite of paracetamol...please recommend...thanks

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
This is what happens when you do self medications by considering yourselves as doctors.
You have blocked nose and fever, yes it could be viral fever but, what i do not understand is that, why do you require augmentin for viral infections?
Just take dolo 650 mg thrice a day and steam inhalations thrice a day.
By doing such practices of taking anyibiotics unnecessarily, you create antibiotic resistance.
Kindly consult a general physician in person for durther evaluation and management.
