Vaccum air phenomenon disc region
Degenerative and osteophytic changes are seen in the visualized lumbar vertebrae. Vaccum air phenomenon in L5,S1 IV disc region. This is in my X-ray report. What does it mean? Is it serious matter?

These are degenerative changes ..you also need a clinical assessment and then investigation like MRI to know proper condition of the spine

There is lot of wear and tear changes, probably due to age factor. I would suggest you get a few blood test done and if needed MRI spine to see the extent of degenerative changes
