I got both vaccinations for chickenpox 7 years ago, now one of my flatmates has chickenpox, do I need to get another preventive vaccine to avoid chickenpox? What else can be done to avoid getting the disease.

Hello there. 2 shots of vaccination to varicella is about 98% effective at preventing chicken pox, so you don't need another shot. Don't be worried. But take all the precautionary measures and stay away from all of his stuff, get everything cleaned properly, wash all the beddings and dry in sun. Regards
