UTI test and azithromycin
I took a course of azithromycin 500 daily, total 5 doses, till the 6th or 7th this month. Will it affect my R.E and urine culture today? It's been 7 or 8 days since. Also since I am covid positive, will that affect my R.E results. It's been 9 days since my test and 8 days since my result. I have had symptoms nearly 10 + days before my covid test. And offcourse had azithromycin from the 2 or 3rd of August to 6 or 7th of August.

Consumption of antibiotics does affect urine culture only if the offending bacteria is sensitive to the antibiotic.
