UTI in one year girl child
My baby is one year old girl child .. I knew about UTI problem with her first time in month of JUN and Dr admitted her in hospital for days after one month she again get this problem of UTI and after that i did DMSA scan and MCU test . from the MCU test result is grade III reflux . now i am confuse that what should i do > Should I go for surgery of year baby or it will overcome with age . right now i am giving her martifur MR tablet 50 mg in one day .

You have not mentioned whether she had bilateral or unilateral reflux What is the report of DMSA Whether any defect seen or not Grade 3 reflux we can manage conservatively with antibiotics prophylaxis

you may continue martifur or Septran low dose daily night if she again develops intercurrent infections or breakthrough UTI might require surgery
Health Tips
close follow up along with regular use of ANTIBIOTICS required till the age of 5 or till child is toilet trained whichever is earliest follow up with pediatric urologist
