UTI in baby
Hi Doctors, my baby had uti last week and after taking antibiotics it got suppressed. Post treatment scan was taken and attached is his report, could you please let me know is there anything to worry more or just by ensuring baby takes enough fluids going forward solves the problem.

yes sir, greetings to you, at present urine is normal Sono shows evidence of chronic cystitis. We can not forget and sleepover it. Give plenty of fluids as a habit,and train the baby to pass urine completely. Observe his stream of urine when he is passing. . Do micturating urethrography. It will exclude presence of urethral valves. This my Suggestion. I have seen two cases of urethral valves. please fix appointment through Practo and follow up with me.

Nothing to worry more. Give more liquids Maintaining hygiene If UTI is recurrent (Multiple episodes in 6 months), then only we need to go through further investigations. UTI is common in children
