Your abdomen and pelvis scan is reassuring overall. Liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, bladder and prostate are all described as normal. The only finding is a small hemangioma in the liver, about 1 centimetre, which is a common benign cluster of blood vessels, not a tumour or cancer, and most people have no symptoms from it at all.
Next Steps
A hemangioma this size usually needs no treatment. Your doctor may just suggest repeating an ultrasound in 6 to 12 months to confirm it stays stable.
Health Tips
Please consult your physician in person with this report, since clinical correlation means they'll want to confirm nothing else explains your symptoms.
