Use or Catheter's for Post General Anaes
Hi there, How common are Catheter's required for use after General Anaesthetic if someone is having a problem passing Urine? Is the process painful or can a local anaesthetic be used? I am having an ENT surgery next week and a little concerned Thanks

It will not cause any problems. Definitely local Anesthesia gelly will be applied before insertion of catheter. You need not to worry
