Every drug can have some side effects which may not be predicted always. Within the advised dose it should not cause any problem. Use it only if it is prescribed by a pediatrician. If you don't want to use that one you can ask your doctor to change it. There are many alternatives available for wheezing. If you are more worried about side effects you can use only nebulisations which does not cause side effects due to local action and very effective also.
