I have heard doctor saying that a patient having fever in these months is mostly due to viral fever.
But why do doctors prescribe antibiotics when there is viral fever, why don't they prescribe antiviral medicine ?

good immune system can fight viral infection and antibiotics will bring down the immunity as they cause dysbiosis.
So for viral infection to boost immunity
1. take high dose vitamin c ( 2g in four dose)
2. fasting will help
3. vitamin d ( 5000iu/day)
4. Selenium supplements

Hello, viral fever takes 5-7 days to resolve...
You need only symptomatic treatment, adequate fluid and rest for viral fever.
But when their is wet cough and fever not resolving and blood reports showing raised WBC then we need to add antibiotic...that means it is bacterial infection
