Urosepsis.
Hi, I need advice on this please TLC was 30.91 yesterday and psa total was 22. Today both test were repeated.. TLC came down to 15 and psa went up to 44. He is on iv antibiotics. He is under supervision in hospital. Dr suggested as TLC came down so it's good and psa will come down gradually. Please suggest if psa levels are alarming..

As the reports mentioned it suggests  acute prostatitis Take proper treatment with long duration antibiotics In the acute phase of prostatitis psa does not signify anything clinically relevant so not routinely recommended. Psa will take 6 months to settle down ( do not be bothered with psa value) no need to repeat
