Urine specific gravity 1.005

Asked for Male, 25 Years

Hi all, I had a stinging pain in my bladder region in the morning so I went to the doctor. The doctor did urine analysis and everything was normal except for specific gravity which was 1.005. I have been drinking 4 litres of water everyday for the past one month. Could this low specific gravity be because of that.

over hydration is not needed. adequate hydration to be maintained (2.5 to 3 litres per day)
