After hemorrhoid surgery, my father has Urin Retention. He is in catheter for last 8 days. Tried removing 2 times in between, but put it back as there was no improvement. He has enalarged prostrate as well (100CC), but there was no Urination problem prior to surgery. I Wanted to check what kind of medication/treatment can help him. He is taking Silodosin D4 every night.

Post hemorrhoidectomy surgery due to severe pain patient normally gets urinary retention , so catheterisation is generally recommended. but since patient is having prostate enlargement , get done PSA report. Patient can be started on Tab Dutas T once in night . And after 15 days of starting treatment , catheter removal trial should be given. Then we can remove the catheter and plan for treatment of prostate based on Serum PSA report.
Next Steps
To do Serum PSA
START ON TAB DUTAS T ONCE IN NIGHT
