Hello doctor
I have been feeling a slight burning sensation while passing urine since day before ysterday late night. While it was fine for some part of the day yesterday, there was a slight burning sensation for the other and this was on and off. I spoke to a doctor yesterday morning and he diagnosed it as UTI as I was having slight back and andomen pain back yesterday morning, which has gone now.
He asked me to take Q Citra syrup of 5ml three times a day with half cup water and also take urispas if the pain is intolerable.
While the pain has not been intolerable, I have not taken the tablet.
I wanted to check if I should be taking any other antibiotic to treat UTI or should I let it go away on it's own? I had UTI only once before in mid 2018 and never before that.
I am slightly apprehensive about consuming and antibiotic, though the doctor has prescribed Urifur 100mg sr.
Please let me know what would be the best way to deal with this.
Thanks
