Upper abdomen pain
Good morning. I have pain in my upper abdomen. I have had it for about 6 weeks but it’s gradually getting worse. I’m not feeling sick. The pain is a mix of the cramps you get when you have a stomach bug and indigestion. Last night I laid on my front and the pain was very bad. It also hurts when I’m having sex like a sharp pain.

[ ] Hi as your symptoms are suggestive of gastritis.Follow some lifestyle changes. Take your food timely. Avoid cabbage, capsicum, citrus fruits ( for a while). Don't drink water with food, take after 40 min. as much as you want thereafter. Don't lie down immediately after food. Finish your night meal by 8.30 pm maximum. Go to bed after minimum 1 hour after dinner. Always keep your stomach 1/4 th empty. You can divide your meal into 5-6 times a day. Avoid the particular food, which you observed that after taking you feel bloating, fullness, upper abdominal pain/ discomfort, reflux symptoms etc. Some times in intractable cases one need to go ahead with Upper Gastroscopy to rule out gastric ulcer/erosions and presence of H PYLORI infection.Feel free to ask any further quary related to your problem. Regards.
