Unprotected sex
I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend yesterday. And yesterday was my ovulation day. So in a jiff, I took Mercilon after 15 hours and then experienced spotting...a thick, reddish, mucus type blood! I've never been on birth control pill. What are the chances of me getting pregnant? And what are the chances of avoiding it?

Dear Practo user,
If you have taken one tablet of Mercilon, it's unlikely to have any effect. You can take ipill now. But, it's not guaranteed that it will have desired action. But, it's better than taking only one tablet of Mercilon.
