Unhappy Sex life. Male sexual fitness?

I am a male of 25 years. I have been married for 5 months but had trouble during sexual intercourse as I'm unable to have a proper penetration. Even though I tried pushing my penis, I had experienced a certain resistance after my penis tip just enters her vagina and was unable to push pass it. If I do, my wife says it's painful. Once when I tried harder, there was a small pop sound I heard and a kind of feeling of my penis twitching. Now I'm being accused as impotent and my wife has applied for divorce which caused me a lot of mental agony. I don't have premature ejaculation and I'm able to sustain my hardened state till a minute or so. Is there a comprehensive test for male sexual fitness? Please advice as it is effecting my mental health and I'm going into a depressed state of mind.
