Understanding USG Report
Hi, My wife is pregnant, into 8th week. She is having minute bleeding and treatment is going on. I am not asking anything on the treatment but I fail to understand a term in the latest USG report. Btw the baby heartbeat is noted and is strong. The First report says subchorionic bleeding noted (which I understand little bit). Second Report says Poesterior chorionic separation noted (which I fail to understand). The doctor too didn't explained it very well. Please let me understand the issue just for my understanding of the problem.

Chorionic membrane is the layer of placenta which separates the pregnancy from the uterus. Both the terms of sonography actually mean same thing. That the placenta which supplies blood to developing fetus is separating.
