My dad had a major humerus surgery with multiple fracture in small fragments in the first week of december..he had to put 2 plates..
But he is not able to move his wrist and fingers since then..he is undergoin physiotheraphy from a month but i dont see any recovery as of now..is it a post operation trauma? How much months it will take to fully recover it..

If the wrist and fingers are not moving at all check with the Physiotherapist if his nerves are intact....if the nerve is getting compressed or lesioned due to any reason the sensations and the movement is impaired

it is likely due to radial nerve palsy. consult a shoulder elbow hand specialist. he needs a good examination and pertinent investigation to determine prognosis
