Iam having abdominal pain which is on and off doctor suggested for surgery .is it emergency or I can opt for medication

It’s umbilical hernia of ~1cm, as its on & off pain, better to opt for surgery at earliest. Not an emergency at present but it can be at anytime.

small umbilical hernia with omentum as content..pain on /off might be sure to compression of omentum in defect.not an emergency but get surgery earliest..dont delay for long as pain is present
