Umbilical Cord of new born baby..
My new born baby girl is 8 days old.. her umbilical cord was dry all these days but today it appears a bit wet.. attached is a pic.. is it some kind of an infection?

Its normal..cord is in stage of separating.

No .it's not infection. Looks like umbilical granuloma. Mild yellow discharge or bleeding is fine. Umbilical cord fall within first 10 days of life
