Ubnormal test results
1. Gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT) Result is 112.7 U/I Normal range showing 0-55 for male. 2. Asapartate aminotransferase (SGOT) Result is 65.1 U/I Normal range showing 0-37 for male. 3. Alanine Transminase ( SGPT) Result is 107 U/I Normal range is showing 13-40. What will be the problem? How serious it is? can i reduce the high values to nomal range by taking treatment ? Please let me know at the earliest.

The liver enzymes you have mentioned will be raised when there is injury to the liver, commonly due to alcohol. If Alcohol is the cause it should be stopped. There are drugs that help the liver recover and bring back the values to normal. If there is continuous injury to the liver then irreversible changes take place and the condition becomes more serious.
