Typhoid since a month
My typhoid diagnosis got delayed for 15-20 days and i have started the antibiotic now. I had low grade fever, stomach ache, indigestion alongwith constipation and diarrhea. Its been 3-4 days of taking azithromycin 1gm a day. I want to know how long should i take it? My symptoms still coming and going between like feverish, stomach cramp and mucus in stool. Please suggest?

Usually Azithromycin is given for 5 days .... kindly consult ur doctor ,get an USG abdomen if constipation and abdominal pain continues
