Typhoid post covid. Suggest what to do?.

My mother recovered from covid last week(she had taken both the doses of Covishield) and then she was feeling well but she did some household chores and the next day she started suffering from fever ranging from 101 to 105 F,chills, headache, stomach ache. Spo2 level is  around 96-97. The widal test showed typhi O 1/160 and typhi H 1/80 all other negative. The CRP also shows positive. Moreover the chest X.Ray report says "Prominent bronchial markings are seen with dense hilar roots". The blood test shows that rbc count is 3.4 mln/cmm and haemoglobin is 10.12 gm/dl. The doctor didn't say anything when asked and prescribed medicines of typhoid which is dolo 650mg,ceftum 500mg,zifi 200mg,dygine syp,phantop dsr and zincovit. After taking doses for a day, she also started having cough. Can she take normal cough syrup? Please suggest what to do?.I am attaching the reports hereby. Looking forward for your precious advices🙏
