Typhoid fever
I have fever on 14 april then have cough cold and my smell n taste had gone.l take medicine n I was fine but started weakness after 2 or 3 days then I took multivitamins for 10 days but no improvement and then started loose motion.stomach ache and loss of appetite then I go for blood test and my typhoid positive and esr level is 90 and crp is 19.so I am taking typhoid medicine.so I have typhoid post covid or it is typhoid.i m confused.i should for another test or dr.

Yes you should get RT-PCR FOR COVID 19 Typhoid is sometimes positive but it is good enough to confuse patients because of cross connectivity as mentioned. U need proper management if having other symptoms and other Covid marker test also should be done inorder to get the proper treatment on time.

Do a RTPCR for covid.Typhoid test may come positive sometimes in covid due to cross reactivity.
