First we need to clarify if you have TRD or not as every depression not responding to a treatment is not necessarily TRD. So i would suggest you to get properly evaluated and then treated. And yes there are lot of options for treatment of TRD. You can consult me for further evaluation.

Greetings, I really appreciate your interest in ketamine therapy, yes it is really helpful in most of the cases. In my personal experience it really helped many patients and gave fantastic responses. But monotherapy with ketamine is not very beneficial in the long term. But proper tailored treatment approach with ketamine will give better long term results .

Ketamine infusion is a good option for TRD, the only concerning point is that the effect of ketamine is short lasting, it usually lasts for one week and then the effect starts to vanish. More researches are undergoing for its long term effect. The other options for TRD treatment are nasal esketamine, Combination of different class of antidepressant and various somatic treatments like rTMS.
