Greetings.  Yes you may use the shampoo however, you'll need to understand that scalp scalp folliculitis can be of fungal or bacterial nature.  You may accordingly need specific shampoos and also a course of oral medication with prescription of the dermatologist.  See a qualified dermatologist near you.  Warm regards
